Reading e-books

As previously mentioned, my wife and I have started a book club (which so far is a major success - over 20 people and we haven't even had our first meeting!).

The first book is "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, which I have read before (and recommend highly). But, this time, I am carrying out an experiment. I will read this book on my iphone as an e-book. I have never read an entire book in 'e' format (although I do read a lot of online content - blogs, news and the like) and am curious to see what it is like.

If I find it bearable (I still prefer the feel of a book in my hand), then I may consider reading other books this way. With resources like Project Gutenberg Australia and iphones (with apps like Stanza) this would be a great way for me to read more widely (less cost and I can read wherever I am as long as I have my phone).

What is your experience of reading e-books?

Luke
