Haven't been doing much blogging recently ("Obviously!" I hear you all cry). Have been minding the in-law's place and helping get teenagers to school, fed and washed, etc. Lots of fun - no, that's a lie - lots of work, but I'm happy to do it. Mainly because I love my in-laws and my brothers-and-sisters-in-law and so hanging out is fun.
Got involved in the Christian/atheist (new-atheists? - they certainly were as aggressive as new atheism is - watch this space for some reflections) debate here. I tried to answer what I thought were honest questions. As it developed however, I believe that my good intentions were just fuel for an anti-religion rant. But, it was not as full on as the debate here and here (the host server crashed due to comments!), and Gordo had some interesting things to say too. Quite frustrating, because there is only so much that can be said on a blog. Also, although we 'theists' are claimed to have a 'faith' get out clause I feel that the atheists have a 'I don't actually believe in anything so what you're saying doesn't apply to me' get out clause. Grr. Anyway, I will blog more about this later once I've had a chance to do some more thinking.

Hi Luke,
I popped by after seeing a link on Izaac's blog - and a little notification thing I get that told me you'd linked to mine.
I've enjoyed virtually meeting you by trawling your archives.
I don't have anything really meaningful to add other than to say hi.
Thanks for the drop in! Hello! Hope you like the blog. Nice work with the atheist crowd control btw!
